People have a great need for expert help to stop foreclosure but they cannot afford to get an attorney because they are so expensive so they lose their homes. Far too many people lose their homes because they cannot afford expensive attorneys fees because they are already having money problems.  How can people that are already in a financial bind be expected to go get an expensive attorney, and pay a lot for attorneys most of whom anyway don’t know the laws that are in the favor of the homeowner that can be used to stop foreclosure?  This is one reason why a Stop Foreclosure Do it Yourself with Expert Help or Assist Your Attorney Program is better than just leaving it up to an attorney; in addition consider the below points.

1.  There are very few attorneys that know the relevant laws to use to stop foreclosure. The best laws to help one stop foreclosure laws are consumer laws like Truth In Lending and RESPA and HOEPA and not to many attorneys specialize in these laws.

2. The attorneys that do specialize in these laws will charge you a great deal of many down starting at 5,000.00 down and several thousand dollars a month. This is just way to unreasonable for some who is on the way to losing their home to be able to afford. If someone could afford to pay those types of attorney's fees most likely they would not be in the position of having to stop a foreclosure on their property.

3. Many attorneys are overworked and have too much to handle already and it is hard to devote the amount of time and attention they need to on every case. Now with something like a foreclosure you do not need someone who has to much jon their plate already dealing with a critical life issue like saving your home and credit.  The best one and most dedicated one that will advocate for saving their home is the person who is at risk of losing their home. That makes since doesn't it?  You are a critical component of making this thing work and stopping foreclosure. The ultimate responsibility for stopping the foreclosure is with the homeowner at risk of losing his or her home. You need to get expert help in the laws and procedures on how to stop a foreclosure yourself or help your attorney stop foreclosure because there is very little chance the attorney you get will have experience with the law that enable one to stop foreclosure with success, that's if you can even afford an attorney of course.

4. When you know and can show the Lender where his bank is vulnerable to legal liability the Banker will work with you. There are less costly ways to stop foreclosure that have worked for others and can work for you. You don't have to spend the money to get an attorney to stop foreclosure with success. When Bankers see that you have a valid argument and there is a good chance can lose in court they are more willing to negotiate and settle things out of court and work with you with some of these alternatives to foreclosure.

5.  Doing it yourself with expert help or assisting your attorney with expert help is a lot better than doing nothing which is what a lot of people do. When judges are asked about the biggest problem they have in foreclosure cases that cause people to lose their case and their homes, one main answer is people don't answer the complaint against them.  Then things go down hill from there on the fast track to losing their homes. 

The moral of the story is way to many people do little to nothing of consequence to stop the foreclosure because they cannot afford high priced attorneys and they give the Lender a free ride.  Those who say the lender does not want to take your home are wrong. Bankers/Lenders are all about making money and many times cheat and lie and everything else to get it. Bankers for certain do want to take your home and get the equity out of it for themselves which is what happens most of the time because of the homeowners lack of knowledge.
