Many people are being foreclosed on and losing their homes and having to move needlessly. However, there is help so that this does not happen to you! Watson Lord & Watson, a Christian business establishment since 1996, is providing a new Peoples Advocacy Fellowship Group helping people, many times potential victims of foreclosure, stop foreclosure proceedings against their homes and also helping with other problems and issue at law.

Below are tips why someone in, or close to being in, foreclosure against their home should get in contact with the Peoples Advocacy Fellowship Group for help to stop foreclosure; and why anyone wishing to help others in the battle against foreclosure should contact the WLW-PAF Group or similar experts.

Tip 1: First, Watson Lord & Watson is looking for people/workers who want to help others in their local area not fall prey to predatory lending and become a foreclosure victim. Local advocates that work with the Peoples Advocacy Fellowship Group can work out of their home or office and be trained and paid for providing advocacy help to those in their local area or those they may contact from other areas online, there are no territory restrictions.

An advocate may add being a foreclosure advocate to their current business as a loan officer or mortgage broker or financial planner or consultant, insurance professional, etc…. Advocates can also be someone with no current financial training willing to learn and work from home contacting people and connecting them with experts that can help them win their dispute and keep their home. Attorney may also contact the WLW-PAF Group for help with getting expert testimony in favor of a homeowner’s claims and defenses to win their case.

Tip 2: Secondly, Watson Lord & Watson provides non-bar member, non-attorney Next Friend and Private Attorney General type help in the areas of buyer-consumer protection and other types of disputes; and the cost is easy on your wallet compared to alternatives like loss mitigation and bankruptcy costs. In addition, to help keep costs down many times the WLW-PAF Group can help people acquire an attorney on contingency or hybrid-contingency basis and the attorney gets paid when the case is won in favor of the homeowner as it is won the vast majority of the time when making these arrangements.

Watson Lord & Watson’s Peoples Advocacy Fellowship Group (WLW-PAF Group) is the low cost team of buyer-consumer advocates to go to for educational consulting and tutoring support helping with the preparation of paperwork for “In Propria Persona” (or pro se, or handling legal issues ones self) claims and defenses in disputes. The Peoples Advocacy Fellowship Group is for people who cannot afford or do not want to pay the high costs of using an attorney and are intending to handle their own matters at law in and out of court, or for those who do have an attorney and want to educate themselves to assist their attorney and have a better chance at winning their foreclosure dispute with expert help. Much of the time issues can be settled by paperwork and meetings or other means of conversation without court appearances.

Tip 3: Last, Watson Lord and Watson experts will do a detailed or forensic examination of your loan documents for compliance issues and violations of federal laws and statutes in the area of: Truth In Lending (TILA), RESPA, HOEPA, FDCPA, interest and fee overcharges, and the experts will find where the bank or other lending institution breaks State common laws like unjust enrichment and fraud or attempted fraud.  They can also help a homeowner who does not have their loan documents get the documents when the creditor is stalling and not giving the homeowner a copy of the loan documents that the homeowner-borrower may have misplaced.

When a foreclosure occurs and one loses their home more times than not the homeowner is a victim of the bank needlessly taking their home. Most of the time the Creditor is in violation of several provisions of the laws and statutes protecting homeowners and the borrower is deserving of a refund for overcharges and/or deserving of thousands even tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages due to the bank violating the law. These damages and refunds could be used to offset the homeowner’s delinquent payments and help them negotiate a better interest rate for their loan or even zero out the principle, though zeroing the balance is a lot less common.

When the homeowner is foreclosed on and loses their home where the homeowner was deserving of refunds and damages, which is by far most of the time, the homeowner is a victim of the banks/creditors getting away with breaking the law and taking their home.
